By train

* From Shin-Osaka Station to Namba Station
Take Subway the Midosuji Line for Namba Station. (It takes approx. 14 minutes) Transfer to the Nankai Koya Line for Koyasan.

* From Namba
The Nankai Electric Railway makes 4 round trips a day by Limited Express, and runs Express trains at about 30-min intervals between Osaka Namba Station and Gokurakubashi Station. 
It takes 1 hr 40 min by Limited Express, and around 2 hours by Express. 
Change to the Nankai Cable Line at Gokurakubashi Station for Koyasan Station. 

* From Wakayama
From Wakayama Station(JR Wakayama Line) to Hashimoto Station , Transfer to the Nankai Koya Line for Gokurakubashi Station, then change the train again to the Nankai Cable Line to go to Koyasan Station. Total time taken is estimated at two hours.
